Maria mit erhobenen Armen auf Thronbank sitzend, auf dem Schoß den Leichnam ihres Sohnes, dessen Kopf mit geöffnetem Mund nach hinten gefallen ist. In fließenden, teils kaskadenartig fallenden Falten drapierte Kleidung. Gussstein. Polychrome Fassungsreste. Rest., best. Arme Mariens sowie rechter Arm Christi fehlen. H. 93 cm.

Dabei: Kupfertafel mit Beschriftung "Andachtsraum/Im Schutze der Stadtmauer/12.-13. Jahrhundert/Pieta/Steinguss/Salzburg um 1410/Errichtet im Jahr 1986".
