Kal. 9mmLuger, Nr. 1317 Kü, nummerngleich inkl. Schlagbolzen und Griffschalen. Fast blanker Lauf. Bescheinigung über Nichtbeschuss. Hülsenkopf gemarkt "41", am Vordergelenk "byf". Lauf ohne S/N, Unterseite gemarkt "S/42", links Luftwaffenabnahme LW-Adler/"A", darüber dünn "W/154" im Rechteck. Rechts vorne am Gabelstück weitere Luftwaffenabnahme LW-Adler/A. Vollständige originale Brünierung, minimale Tragespur an der Deckplatte. Fehlerlose dunkle Nussholzgriffschalen mit ausgeschriebener S/N 1317, die rechte mit Mauser-Abnahme Adler/655. Nummerngleiches fxo-Magazin mit schwarzem Kunststoffboden. Nahezu neue Erhaltung einer sehr seltenen P. 08 der Luftwaffe.
Komplett mit der neuwertigen braunen Koffertasche, Fertigung "Auwärter & Bubeck / 1940 / Stuttgart" mit Abnahme Adler/"WaA101". Die weißen Nähte und Zugriemen in Ordnung. Eingesteckt Schlüssel und das nummerngleiche Ersatzmagazin "1317/+" wie oben. Die Pistolen 08 "Kü" sind die einzigen, bei denen die fxo-Magazine mit schwarzem Kunststoffboden die S/N tragen.
Der Grund für die Zusatzbezeichnung "Kü" und dessen Bedeutung vor oder nach der S/N dieser Luftwaffen P.08 ist ungeklärt und bietet Anlass zu Spekulationen. Der Zusammenbau der Waffen aus Mauserteilen erfolgte vermutlich bei Krieghoff. Vgl. u.a. Gibson, The Krieghoff Parabellum, S. 247 - 258, und Still, Third Reich Lugers, S. 97.

Cal. 9mmLuger, SN. 1317 Kü, matching numbers, incl. firing pin and grips. Almost bright bore. Eight shots. No modern proof marks. The chamber area marked "41", the toggle link marked "byf". The barrel without SN, underneath marked "S/42", on the left-hand side Luftwaffe acceptance mark LW-Eagle/"A" below a faint ""/154" mark. On the right-hand side of the barrel extension additional Luftwaffe acceptance mark LW-Eagle/"A". Original finish > 98% with a minor trace of wear on the side plate. Dark walnut grips, numbered "1317", the right one with Mauser acceptance mark Eagle/"655". An fxo-marked magazine with matching number and black plastic bottom. This very rare Luftwaffe Luger in almost as-new condition.
Included is a brown holster by "Auwärter & Bubeck / 1940 / Stuttgart" with acceptance mark Eagle/"WaA101", in excellent condition. Pull strap, solid white stitching. Key and spare mag numbered "1317/+".
The Luger pistols with "Kü" markings are the only ones, where the black plastic bottom of the fxo-mags is numbered. The meaning of the "Kü" marking of these Luftwaffe Lugers is yet to be determined. These guns were most likely assembled from Mauser parts at the Krieghoff factory. See amongst others Gibson, "The Krieghoff Parabellum", pages 247 to 258, and Still, "Third Reich Lugers", page 97.
