Contemporary binding of the fifth edition of this collection of short biographies of the Popes up to Pius III which appeared for the first time in 1479, reprinted here with the "Dialogo de falso et vero bono e altri scritti dell'autore".

2 parts in one volume, 8vo (164 x 110mm). Title with large woodcut vignette, woodcut initials (without blanks 2v7-2v8, occasional light spotting and staining). Fine contemporary calf decorated in blind and gilt, decorated spine with manuscript title, gilt and decorated edges (rebacked preserving part of the original spine, modern endpapers, weak joints, other small restorations); preserved in a modern decorated paper box.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
