Öl auf Leinwand 103 x 90 cm. Doubliert. Restaurierung. Rahmen min. beschädigt Fred G. Meijer datiert die Entstehung des vorliegenden Gemäldes noch in die Antwerpener Schaffensperiode des bekannten Blumenmalers Verbruggen, somit vor 1705, als der Künstler nach Amsterdam übersiedelte. Als Figurenmaler schlägt Meijer einen Künstler aus dem Umkreis des Peter Ykens vor, mit welchem Verbruggen gelegentlich zusammenarbeitete. Stellungnahme Fred G. Meijer, Amsterdam, 25.
