Technique: Porcelain, painted golden and in colours.
Description: The cup with ombre woodcut flowers and insects, a cartouche with landscape view in the
centre. The tea bowl and the saucer are richly decorated with cartouches and fine
paintings of merchant navy scenes. The tastevin alternating with battle scenes and gold
ornamentation.
Measurement: Height 7,5cm/5cm ø 12cm/7,5cm.
Mark: Swords mark, painted blue under glaze. Once remains of gold painter's mark, once with gold painter's mark 'L.', twice with potter's mark.
