Verso: On the panel a number '102', an old coat of arms seal and a handwritten label 'Number 36 17th century Frans Hals - original - Stephanus Geraerdts' with a stamped seal of John Brandon, Glasgow. Part. min. damaged. Frame. The larger-sized half-figure portrait of Stephanus Geraerdts to this study has been painted between 1650 and 1674 together with a pendant painting of his wife Isabella Coymans who he married in 1644. Today the painting is situated in the collection of the Koninklijk Museum voor Schone Kunsten in Antwerp under the inv./cat.nr 674. Provenance: Rhenish Private Collection. Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
