Prächtige Berliner Ansichtenvase aus der KPM Berlin Form "Französische Vase" oder "Amphora mit vegetabilen Henkeln". Auf quadratischer Plinthe und hochgezogenem Rundfuß ovoider Korpus mit gerundeter Schulter und abgesetztem, zylindrischem Hals, in ausladenden, geschweiften Profilrand übergehend. Seitliche Handhaben in Form von Akanthusblattvoluten mit Rosetten-Blüten, teilw. in Biskuitporzellan. Auf der Wandung reicher Golddekor aus stilisiertem Blatt- und Rankenwerk auf rosafarbenem Fond. Schauseitig, in breiter goldgerahmter Reserve, die Ansicht eines Herrenhauses in weiter Landschaft nahe eines Flusses gelegen. Unterhalb dat. "1840 - 1846". Äußerst feine polychrome Malerei mit teilw. goldradiertem Dekor, Vermicelli-Muster sowie reicher Vergoldung. Form-Entw. Karl Friedrich Schinkel, um 1830. Rest.; Zepter-, KPM- und Malereimarke. H. 40,5 cm.
