Ein besonders kunstvoll gezeichneter Rapport aus großen Shah-Abbas Palmetten und Lanzettblättern, durch filigranes Rankwerk verbunden, schmückt den champagnerfarbenen Feldfond dieser prachtvollen Knüpfarbeit mit eingearbeitetem Werkstattsignet "M.M. Esfahanian". Dank der sehr hohen Knüpfdichte und dank sehr guter Wollqualität beansprucht dieser raumbestimmende Teppich einen wirklich luxuriösen Charakter. Das delikat komponierte Kolorit verdient besonderer Beachtung: die kräftigsten Töne sind ein warmes Rot und ein intensives Wasserblau, die vorwiegend die großen Palmetten bestimmen. In zweiter Linie stehen Schattierungen von rot und blau, bzw. braun, die sich zwischen ocker, rosé und türkis aufhalten. Insgesamt aber fügt sich diese virtuose Komposition in Form und Farben zu einem harmonischen Ganzen zusammen. Auch die Hauptbordüre ist von Blättern und Palmetten belegt, die verbindende Ranke allerdings ist aufwendig arabesk geschwungen und wirkt, leicht schattiert, wie ein Schirm, der die einzelnen Palmettensegmente rhythmisiert. Insgesamt eine wunderschöne Arbeit.
