A MAGNIFICENT NEOCLASSICAL CAMEO COLLIER - probably England, 2nd half of 19th century - Brass gilded. Turquoise blue coloured glass paste. Three oval cameos with female allegories. The necklace of cord-shaped chains with rod-shaped elements in antique style. Ca. 77g. - Old private Collection, Berlin. Lit. Gerhart Egger: Bürgerlicher Schmuck, München 1984. similar type fig. 296 and 358. The turquoise blue cameos made of glass flow, i.e. made of coloured opaque glass paste, were extremely popular in England and have been produced there since the 18th century. In literature, this color is therefore often referred to as "English turquoise". Throughout Europe, these gems and cameos made of glass paste were highly sought after until the late 19th century and were very popular in elaborate, often antique pieces of jewelry.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
