Dazu eine Erkennungsmarke des "Friedrich Arnold Eberhard von der Decken". Der Schenkende war 1893 Premierlieutenant in der Dienststellung als Regimentsadjutant des 2. Sächsischen Grenadierregiments 101. Sein letzter Dienstgrad war Generalleutnant, seine letzte Dienststellung Kommandeur der 96. Infanterie-Division. Von der Decken war Träger des Kommandeurkreuzes des sächsischen Militär-St.-Heinrich-Ordens in Gold und weiterer hoher Auszeichnungen. Ein farbiger Kalender aus dem Jahre 2012 im Format DIN A 4 mit den Abbildungen aller seiner Auszeichnungen sowie eine neunseitige Abhandlung mit Foto in Uniform und Ordensschmuck über den militärischen Werdegang sind beigegeben.

Extra-broad, slightly curved pipe-backed blade with yelmen of forged Damascus steel, the base with Solingen maker’s mark "W.K. & C" underneath a king’s head and knight’s helmet, on the back purveyor’s signature "Eduard Kühne, Erfurt", one half of the blade richly etched, blued and gilt (refreshed) on both sides, on the reverse cartouches with inscriptions "von der Decken s./l. Nieter 1893" and (tr.) "Genuine Damascus steel", on the obverse cartouches inscribed with (tr.) "Do not draw me without reason, do not insert me without honour" and "Eisenhauer". Oversize, gilt lion head hilt in rich relief with inserted red glass eyes, the languet with monogram "GN" (monogram of the donee) on the reverse, underneath the quillons stamp (tr.) "Registered design", sharkskin grip with triple wire wrap. Slightly damaged in places, traces of age. Length 103 cm.
Comes with an identification tag of "Friedrich Arnold Eberhard von der Decken". In 1893, the donor was first lieutenant and served as regimental adjutant to the 2nd Saxon Grenadier Regiment 101. His last rank was lieutenant general, his last official position was commander of the 96th Infantry Division. Von der Decken was winner of the Commander’s Cross of the Saxon Military Order of St. Heinrich in gold and other high-ranking awards. A coloured calendar from 2012 in size A 4 with depictions of all his awards as well as a nine-page essay on his military career with a photograph of him wearing a uniform and decorations are included.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
