Publisher’s red cloth, pictorial dust jacket designed by Vanessa Bell, modern cloth slip-case and chemise (nicks and closed tears and a few small areas of loss along spine and corners of dust jacket, old repairs with paper tape on inside). Provenance: E.M. Forster (presentation inscription on front flyleaf; and bookplate, “This book belongs to E.M. Forster”).
