Lot 61 | Preussen: Große Ordenschnalle des Generalmajor Karl Leopold Eugen Graf von der Goltz, Flügeladjutant S.M. des Kaisers und Königs Wilhelm II.
Als Oberst nahm er als Kommandeur der 3. Kavallerie-Brigade am 1. Weltkrieg teil und hielt diese Position im Verlaufe des Krieges für die 19., 33. und 2. Kavallerie-Division ebenfalls inne. Er selbst war mit Alwina Bransten van der Zyps seit 1894 verheiratet und lebte mit ihr auf ihrem Gut zu Zypendahl bei Arnheim (Niederlande). Bei der 2. Hochzeit des Kaisers mit der Prinzessin Hermine Reuß ä.L. geb. v. Schönaich-Carolath am 5. November 1922 in Haus Doorn war er Trauzeuge und bei der Trauerfeier für Wilhelm II. im Juni 1941 trug er im Trauergefolge den Feldmarschallstab des Kaisers. Er selbst kam auf dem Gut Zypendahl durch Kriegseinwirkung 1944 zu Tode.
Während seiner Laufbahn erfolgten auch noch Ordens-Verleihungen von Waldeck, Russland, Reuss, Johanniter Orden, die er am Hals trug. Hierzu kamen während des 1. Weltkrieges der Rote Adler Orden 2. Klasse mit Eichenlaub und Schwertern sowie der Kronenorden 2. Klasse mit Stern und Schwertern.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
