Aufgrund seiner Ingenieurs Ausbildung wurde er Kommandoführer des Werkstätten-Kommando der Anatolbahn Haidar-Pascha. Auch hier bewährte er sich erneut und wurde unter anderem mit dem EK1 sowie dem Eisernen Halbmond dekoriert - für den ihm zwei Verleihungsurkunden ausgestellt worden sind. Während des 2. Weltkrieges war er für die Deutsche Röhrenwerke AG als Verhandlungsführer mit dem OKW, RLM, OKH, OKM, RWM etc. zuständig - hierbei wurde er von seiner Gattin unterstützt.
