In 14-karätigem Gold gearbeitete Skulptur der Eirene mit langem Kleid, in den Händen einen Ölzweig vor sich haltend. Das Kleid am Boden mit Künstlerpunze "Marschall", Fuchskopfpunze für 14 Karat sowie undeutlicher weiterer Marke. Höhe der Figur 14,8 cm, Goldgewicht 185 g (Goldwert über € 10.000, Stand 6/23).
Montiert auf einer Deckeldose in Art eines Denkmalsockels aus poliertem roten Marmor mit hellblauen Durchzügen und Quarzeinschluss, die vier Seitenflächen mit einer liebevollen Widmung zweier Kinder zum 50. Hochzeitstag ("1. Jänn. 1853 - 1. Jänn. 1903") ihrer Eltern: "Seht, euer Leben gleicht dem Felde wo reichlich Saat ihr ausgestreut, euch blüht der Ernte Goldnes Wogen die euch das Ährenfeld nun beut." bzw. "Gleichwie der Springbrunn in sich endet des Lebens Müh zu euch sich wenden in eurer Kinder Dankbarkeit - Louise - Willi". Sockelmaße 6,5 x 13 x 8 cm, der Dosenrand mit zwei Ausbrüchen, der Deckel mit einem.
Professor Rudolf Marschall, österreichischer Bildhauer, k.u.k. Kammermedailleur, Plakettenkünstler, Stempelschneider und Jugendstil-Glaskünstler, studierte von 1891-97 an der Wiener Akademie der bildenden Künste unter Josef Tautenhayn, wurde 1903 zum k.u.k. Kammermedailleur am Wiener Hauptmünzamt ernannt, wo er zahlreiche Münzen schuf (u.a. 100 Kronen in Gold, Lueger-Münze zu zwei Schilling), die heute im Heeresgeschichtlichen Museum in Wien zu sehen sind. Nebenher schuf er zahlreiche Bildnisse und Portraitplaketten von österreichischen Persönlichkeiten der k.u.k. Monarchie wie der Republik, aber auch von Päpsten. 1916 fertigte er auch die Totenmaske von Kaiser Franz Joseph an. Zudem entwarf er für die Firma Lobmeyr zahlreiche heute gesuchte Jugendstilgläser und -lampen und schuf Grabreliefs sowie Monumentalplastiken. Seit 1904 leitete er als Professor die Meisterschule für Graveur- und Medailleurkunst an der Wiener Akademie für bildende Künste, 1938 wurde er vom NS-Regime des Dienstes enthoben und 1944 trat er in den Ruhestand.

A 14-carat gold sculpture of Eirene in a long dress, holding an olive branch in her hands before her. The artist's mark "Marschall" stamped at the bottom of the dress, fox head mark for 14 carats and another illegible mark. Height of the figure 14.8 cm, gold weight 185 g (gold value alone over 10,000 euros as of June 2023).
Mounted on a lidded box resembling the base of a monument, made of polished red marble with light blue streaks and quartz crystal inclusions. The four sides with an affectionate dedication of two children commemorating their parents' 50th wedding anniversary ("1. Jänn. 1853 - 1. Jänn. 1903") (tr.): "Look, your life is like the field where abundant seed you strew, the golden waves of the harvest that the corn field now brings forth bloom for you." and "Just like the fountain flows into itself, life's toil returns in the gratitude of your children - Louise - Willi". Dimensions of base 6.5 x 13 x 8 cm, the edge of the lid chipped in two places, the lid in one.
Professor Rudolf Marschall, Austrian sculptor, royal and imperial medallist, plaque artist, punch cutter and art nouveau glass artist, studied under Josel Tautenhayn at the Viennese Academy of Fine Arts between 1891 and 1897, was appointed royal and imperial medallist for the Viennese imperial mint in 1903, where he designed numerous coins (such as the 100 crowns in gold or the two shilling Lueger coin), which can be seen in the Museum of Military History in Vienna today. He also created a number of portraits and portrait plaques of Austrian personages of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the republic, but also of popes. Moreover, he made the death mask of Kaiser Franz Joseph in 1916 and worked for the glassware company Lobmeyr, designing art nouveau glasses and lamps, which are highly sought after today. He also created headstone reliefs and monumental sculptures, and became head professor at the master school for engraving and medal making at the Viennese Academy of Fine Arts in 1904, was discharged by the Nazi regime in 1938 and retired in 1944.
