Katalog Stuttgart 1968, S. 12-13. - Sehr seltenes Manifest des Staatlichen Bauhauses in Weimar, formuliert durch seinen ersten Leiter Walter Gropius. Es ist die erste offizielle Selbstdarstellung der 1919 gegründeten Bauhaus-Schule. Auf der Vorderseite der ganzseitige Holzschnitt "Kathedrale" von Lyonel Feininger (Prasse W 144). - In der Mitte in 2 Teile gerissen. Einige Randeinrisse. Einige wenige kl. Fehlst. - Very rare manifesto of the State Bauhaus in Weimar, formulated by its first director Walter Gropius. On the front the full-page woodcut "Cathedral" by Lyonel Feininger. - Torn in 2 parts in the centre. Some marginal tears. A few small missing parts.
