Runder Lauf mit glatter Seele im Kaliber 14 mm. Über der Kammer und um das Silberkorn eisengeschnittener Dekor auf goldunterlegtem Grund. Darstellung der stehenden Jagdgöttin Diana zwischen Maskarons und Rankendekor. Aufwendig geschnittenes Schloss mit Tierdarstellungen und Maskarons. Vollschäftung aus schön gemasertem Nussbaumholz mit feinem Ranken- und Rocaillenverschnitt. Schaftbruch im Schlossbereich, das Ende des Vorderschaftes ergänzt, Ergänzung oberhalb des Abzugs, kleine Fehlstellen und Reparaturen an den Kanten des Vorderschaftes. Hochwertig geschnittene und goldgrundierte, eiserne Garnitur mit jagdlichen Motiven. Die durchbrochene Schlossgegenplatte mit Darstellung von drei Hunden, auf dem Abzugsbügel liegender Hirsch. Die Kolbenkappe mit Darstellung von Hunden im Kampf mit einem Hirsch. Die Daumenplatte entfernt und mit Holz verfüllt. Späterer, hölzerner Ladestock mit Horndopper. Länge 135 cm. Extrem hochwertige, fachmännisch überarbeitete und stellenweise reparierte Flinte in fürstlicher Qualität.

A splendid South German flintlock rifle, circa 1730/40
Round, smooth-bore barrel in 14 mm calibre. At the breech and around the silver front sight chiselled décor against a golden background, depicting the standing goddess of the hunt Diana amid mascarons and scrolling foliage. Lavishly cut lock with depictions of animals and mascarons. Full stock made from beautifully grained walnut with finely carved tendrils and rocailles. The stock with a break near the lock, the end of the forestock is a replacement, one replacement above the trigger, small defects and repairs to the edges of the forestock. High-quality, chiselled iron furniture underlaid with gold and displaying hunting motifs. The openwork side plate with depiction of three hounds, on the trigger guard a lying stag. The butt cap showing hounds fighting a stag. The escutcheon has been removed and filled in with wood. Later wooden ramrod with horn tip. Length 135 cm. Premium shotgun of royal quality that can be considerably improved by professional restoration of the wood damages.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
