Glatter Lauf im Kaliber 14,5 mm, über der Kammer zahlreiche messinggefütterte Marken. Steinschloss mit gewölbter Schlossplatte, darauf Pseudosignatur. Vollflächig ornamental und floral reliefierter Schaft aus vergoldetem Silber (Oberring und Ladestockhalterung ergänzt). Eisenteile stellenweise etwas narbig. Länge 59 cm. Außergewöhnlich seltene und prächtige Pistole aus einer ehemals griechischen Provinz.

A magnificent Ionian flintlock pistol, ca. 1820
The smooth-bore barrel in 14.5 mm calibre, numerous brass-lined marks struck at the breech. The smooth flintlock with a domed lock plate, bearing a pseudo signature. The entire surface of the gilt silver stock with ornaments and floral décor in relief (the upper ring and ramrod pipe are later replacements). The iron furniture with some pitting. Length 59 cm. Exceptionally rare, splendid pistol from a former Greek province.
