Glatter Lauf im Kaliber 12 mm, auf der Laufschiene Spinnenkorn aus Messing, auf dem Schwanzschraubenblatt Standvisier mit zwei Klappen, über der Kammer goldgefütterte Marken. Der Lauf vollflächig mit aufwendigem Rocailledekor auf Goldgrund geschnitten. Hinter der Laufschiene Darstellung der Jagdgöttin Diana und auf der Laufschiene silbereingelegte Signatur. Ebenfalls mit Rocaillen und jagdlichen Motiven prächtig geschnittenes Steinschloss, Hahn mit kleinem Riss, Hauptfeder etwas beschliffen, Abzugsstange gebogen. Stecherabzug. Schön gemaserter und beschnitzter, leicht bestoßener Vollschaft mit Hornnase. Rocaillenverzierte und vergoldete Messinggarnitur, auf dem Schlossgegenblech Diana und der in einen Hirsch verwandelte Aktäon, auf dem Abzugsbügel eine Jägerin. Vergoldung berieben. Hölzerner Ladestock. Länge 41 cm.
Johann Jakob Kuchenreuter (1709 - 1783) war der Sohn von Johann Christoph und der ältere Bruder von Joseph und Johann Andreas Kuchenreuter. Er arbeitete für die Fürsten von Thurn und Taxis als Hofbüchsenmacher.

Smooth barrel in 12 mm calibre with brass "spider" front sights on the barrel rib, a fixed sight with two flaps on the tang, gold-inlaid marks at the breech. The barrel profusely chiselled with intricate rocaille ornaments on a gold background. A depiction of Diana, goddess of the hunt, behind the barrel rib and a signature inlaid in silver on the barrel rib. The flintlock also chiselled with opulent rocaille ornaments and hunting motifs, a small crack in the hammer, mainspring somewhat ground, the trigger bar bent. Set trigger. The beautifully grained and carved full stock slightly knocked, with a horn nosepiece. The gilt brass furniture with rocaille ornaments. Diana and Actaeon, transformed into a stag, on the lock side plate, a huntress on the trigger guard. The gilding rubbed. Wooden ramrod. Length 41 cm.
Johann Jakob Kuchenreuter (1709 - 1783) was the son of Johann Christoph and the elder brother of Joseph and Johann Andreas Kuchenreuter. He served as court gunsmith to the Princely House of Thurn and Taxis.
