Silber, innen vergoldet. Runder Fuß mit reliefiertem Dekor. Konischer Schaft, durch vier mit geometrisch verlaufendem Silberdraht und Amethyst-Cabochons verzierte Bänder gegliedert. Steckdeckel mit entsprechendem Dekor. Plastisches Schiff als Knauf. Unterseite und Fuß gestempelt mit Mondsichel, Krone, Feingehalt "800", Stadtmarke und "A. SCHÖNAUER". Maße 62 x 18,3 cm, Gesamtgewicht 1.875 g.
Schönauer konnte von 1899 - 1914 fast alle Ehrengeschenke und Tafelaufsätze für den Ratssilberschatz des Hamburger Senats ausführen. Er wurde zum Senatsgoldschmied der Stadt ernannt. 1900 erhielt er in der Pariser Weltausstellung die Goldmedaille und 1945 wurde ihm der goldene Ehrenring der Gesellschaft für Goldschmiedekunst verliehen.

Silver, the inside gold-plated. Round foot decorated in relief. Tapered shaft, subdivided by four bands decorated with geometrical silver wire and amethyst cabochons. Press-in lid with matching décor. Knob in the shape of a three-dimensional ship. Bottom and foot stamped with crescent moon, crown, mark of fineness "800", city mark and "A. SCHÖNAUER". Dimensions 62 x 18.3 cm, overall weight 1,875 g.
Schönauer crafted almost all gifts of honour and centrepieces for the silver treasure of the Hamburg Senate between 1899 and 1914. He was appointed senate’s goldsmith of the city. In 1900, he received the gold medal at the Paris World Exhibition and in 1945 was awarded the golden ring of honour of the Association for Goldsmiths' Art.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
