Qiu HongZhi (*1968) - a resting philosopher and pupil
Expressive painting of an aged philosopher and his young pupil taking a rest. Masterly stylisation of the faces and persons. Calligraphic framing at the top. Lower right red artist's seal. Paper framed under glass. Dimensions 90 x 90 cm.
Qui HongZhi was a student of Chen Yuming, among others. Works in various national Chinese painting exhibitions; awarded, among others, with the Excellence Award of the 2nd National Chinese Drawing Exhibition.
