De forme ovale, sur piédouche, décorées d'une frise de feuilles d'acanthe, appliquées de palmettes et gravées d'un cimier sous couronne comtale sur chaque face, l'intérieur vermeillé divisé en deux parties, la bordure ornée d'une frise d'oves, poinçons: titre,ville, lettre-date (Q et L) et maître-orfèvre; on y joint: huit cuillères à sel en vermeil, modèle filet violon, gravées du même cimier, poinçons: titre, ville, lettre-date (P) et maître-orfèvre

H. des salières: 6,5 cm. (2 1⁄2 in.); L. des salières: 13 cm. (5 1⁄2 in.)

Le cimier est celui de Charles Bennet, 4th Earl of Tankerville (1743-1822) et de son épouse, Emma Colebrooke, fille de Sir James Colebrooke, baronet.

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
