Exemplaire de l’édition originale dans une élégante reliure de l’histoire romanesque de Don Pablos de Ségoviese. Le roman picaresque et satirique circule d’abord par le biais de manuscrits, datant des années 1600-1610. L’édition originale est publiée en 1626, sans l’aval de l’auteur, bien que son nom soit mentionné dans le titre. Malgré des passages changés en partie pour éviter le joug de l’inquisition, le roman rencontre un très vif succès et plusieurs rééditions paraissent entre 1626 et 1648 dans d’autres villes d’Espagne (Madrid, Barcelone, Valence, Pampelune), de France (Rouen) et du Portugal (Lisbonne).

Édition originale (exemplaire lavé, restaurations au verso du dernier feuillet, et en marge de l’avant-dernier, certains feuillets passés notamment des feuillets 61 à 68, quelques piqûres). Reliure du XXe siècle, à l’imitation de décors anciens : maroquin noir, plats aux riches ornements dorés, dos à nerfs, pièce de titre en maroquin rouge, caissons ornés, gardes doublées de papier marbré, maroquin noir et roulettes dorées en encadrement des gardes, tranches dorées, étui (nerfs très légèrement frottés, usures aux mors).

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
