Arabic manuscript on paper, 524ff. plus two flyleaves, each folio with 9ll. of black naskh with interlinear Persian translation in red nasta'liq, within thick gold and polychrome rules, gold circle verse markers, margins with some commentary and gold outer border, gold marginal medallions marking ashr and ajza', sura headings in white thuluth on gold illuminated panels, catchwords, opening bifolio with illuminated panel framing 4ll. of black naskh, following bifolio with illuminated headpiece, cloudbands and gold stenciling in margins, in red leather binding with medallion design, the doublures with medallion and pendants, incomplete including ayat I to LVI, binding mostly loose and in fragile condition
