Quatrième édition, en partie originale ; la dernière publiée du vivant de l’auteur.

L’édition est augmentée des satires XIV, XV, XVI et XVII et de neuf pièces « gaillardes ». « J’aime à penser que « l’ode à la chaude-pisse » est à l’origine du récit colporté par Tallemant. Il est vrai que l’on peut contracter une blennorragie, en même temps que la syphilis, autrement dangereuse avant l’ère des antibiotiques. Mais je ne vois pas que l’on puisse extraire les tréponèmes, pas plus que les gonocoques, au moyen d’un bistouri (…). Il est plus probable que Régnier ait souffert de la gravelle, ou d’une fistule, même si « la C.P. » est le récit d’une aventure vécue. On sait qu’il ne survécut guère à l’opération, conduite par un fameux médecin de Rouen. » (J. P. Barbier-Mueller).

In-8 (161 x 100 mm). Marque de l’imprimeur, bandeaux et lettrines gravés, table manuscrite au dernier feuillet blanc, foliation corrigée à l’encre. Reliure du XVIIe siècle : veau brun, dos à nerfs orné, tranches mouchetées (mouillure aux premiers cahiers, petit manque marginal au titre sans atteinte au texte). Provenance : Guyard de Talma (ex-libris manuscrit, sans doute Antoine-Anselme Guyard de Talma, l'un des cinquante Gardes de la Porte, cf. État de la France, II, 1722, p. 76) -- Jacques Dennery (ex-libris – catalogue I, 1984, n°166).

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
