[UNIVERSITA' DI PARIGI] - Raccolta di testi classici riccamente annotati che comprendono: LUCIANO DI SAMOSATA. ????? ? ?p?s??p???te?. (senza frontespizio ma c.1530-40); CICERONE. Paradoxa..Ad Marcum Brutum. Parigi: Vascosanum, 1536; Orationes tres ad C Caesarem.. Parigi: Vascosani, 1537; pro a Licinio Archia poeata oratio. Parigi: Vascosani, 1539; Orationes tres ante quam iret in exilium. Parigi: Vascosanum, 1536.

An interesting collection of editions of Cicero's orations together with the tenth dialogue from "the book of the dead" by Luciano densely annotated by contemporary hands. The notes, written in Latin and French, are mainly comments to the text but there are also some quotations and even jokes written by different hands that sign in various ways. The work had probably been used by one or more French students in his university studies.

2 opere in 2 volumi, 4to (220 x 170mm). Printer's device on title and colophon (first work lacking title, final work without paper c1, several stains, some leaves detached). Contemporary vellum (worn). Provenance: several contemporary ownership inscriptions through the text: Jehan De Chaudesaigues; Pierre Fornide; De Solilhac; Joannes Fornerius; Petrus Moderatus Calidanus; Bibliotheca Calidana; Ex libris: Mathieu Varille Lyonnois (modern).
