A curious collection of "carte de visite" made in Milan in the second half of the 19th-century and organized by the photographic studio who took them. A good example of popular photographic production in Milan that at the same time provides an insight into the costumes of the period and the "faces" of the characters who populated the city. A collection of approximately 100 "carte de visite" format photographs (105x65 mm the cardboard). The 70 photographs were produced in Milan and have been organized by photographer within 26 groups. The remaining, from the Italian area, are loose (generally in good conditions, some photos with slight signs of wear). All contained in a printed cardboard box.
