Radschloss-Puffer mit reich verbeintem Schaft, Augsburg oder Nürnberg um 1580. Achtkantiger, nach schmalem Balusterring in rund übergehender und blanker Lauf mit gestauchter Mündung. Glatte Seele im Kaliber 12mm. Über der Kammer, im Mittelbereich und an der Mündung feine Ziergravur. Geschnittenes Schloss mit außenliegendem Rad unter Abdeckung, Deckel graviert mit zwei Seeschlangen im Kranz. Federgesperrter Pfannendeckel mit Drücker und kantig-gewinkeltem Hahn. Bewegliche Wirbelsicherung. Innenseitig ebenfalls geschnitten. Vollschäftung aus Nussbaumholz mit zahlreichen Einlagen aus graviertem und geschwärztem Bein und Horn. Die Ränder mit Rollwerkbändern, Punktdekor, der Kolbenrücken mit antiker Kriegerfigur, Schlossgegenseite mit feiner Drachendarstellung, Unterseite mit Waffentrophäen, Vorderschaft mit Fabeltieren, Damenbüsten und Engelsköpfen. Der Kugelknauf mit Zierbändern und Blütenköpfen dekoriert, und mit aufgesetzter geschnittener Löwenkopf-Applike. Schlossgegenseite mit verschraubtem, eisernem Gürtelhaken. Eiserner, leicht geschnittener Abzugsbügel mit kurzem Abzug. Alter, hölzerner Ladestock mit graviertem Beindopper. Länge 50,5cm. Z 2 Provenienz: aus einer süddeutschen Industriellensammlung. Qualitätvolle, sehr gut erhaltene Waffe eines Offiziers oder Trabanten in offenbar unverändertem Originalzustand.
