Schloss mit aussenliegendem Rad, einfache Radführung, die Schlossplatte gerundet, Marke innen "SF" mit Schlange an einem T-förmigen Stab. Pfanne mit Schiebedeckel, Hahn gewinkelt. Gefederter Abzug. Eisengarnitur, halbe Kolbenkappe, eine Ladestockpfeife. Nussbaumschaft, in römischen Zahlen die gekerbte Waffennr. "82", Holzladestock mit Eisendopper. Länge 99,5 cm. Mit der Nummer "82" handelt es sich um den Radschlosskarabiner mit der höchsten bekannten Waffennummer dieser Serie. Lit: Heer/Stockel I, S. 414, Marke 4122, gleiche Werkstatt und Meisterfamilie "F" mit Schlangenstab, III, S. 1706, Marke Nr. 1666, Suhl.
In seinem Schloss Neuschloss richtete Kaunitz eine Jagd- und Waffenkammer ein, welche von der Galerie Fischer in Luzern 1935 verauktioniert wurde. Am 3. Sept. 1935 wurden 23 Radschlosskarabiner (Kat.Nr. 123) und 35 Radschlosspistolen (Kat.Nr. 124) en bloc vom Alten Zeughaus in Solothurn erworben und später zum Teil verkauft, zum Teil getauscht. Alle militärischen Schusswaffen aus der Jagd- und Waffenkammer der Kaunitz-Rietberg weisen auf den Schäften eine alte Kerbnummerierung in römischen Zahlen auf, bei den bekannten Karabinern im Bereich von 4 - 82, bei den Pistolen 10 - 49. Barrel octagonal to round, length 64.3 cm, cal. 16 mm, marked with a heart and "SVL" / hen proof marks. Iron sights. External wheel with simple guidance, rounded lock plate, on the inside marked "SF" and a serpent on a T-shaped staff. Pan with sliding cover. Angled cock. Spring-loaded trigger. Iron furniture, half butt plate, one ramrod thimble. Walnut stock marked "82" in Roman numerals. Wooden ramrod with iron tip. Total length 99.5 cm. Provenance: Gallery Fischer, Luzern, CH, auctioned on Sept. 3, 1935, lot No. 123 ("The Kaunitz Armory"), purchased by the Solothurn Armory, sold in 1942 to a private collector. Subsequently sold in Auction 51 of Hermann Historica in 2006, lot Nr. 740.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
