RAN JIE (*1954) - China, dated 2005.1 - "Clarinet", oil on canvas, signed "Ran Jie" and dated "2005.1" in the lower right corner, framed.Ran Jie was born in Baoding, Hebei, in 1954. He studied painting with his father, an art teacher. He is a member of the Chinese Artists Association, Hebei branch. Since his first award in 1987 for the group painting "Spring of the Green Sea", he has received other awards and received numerous honors, e.g. two of his oil paintings were selected each for the Chinese Oil Painting Exhibition in Hong Kong in 1991 and 1992, "Bathing in the Plateau" received the special prize "International Cultural Exchance Association Excellence Award". Through his efforts in cultural exchange between China and Japan, his works regularly participated in the "Chinese Art Exhibition" in Japan. Most recently, his still lifes were on display at the Huazhong Art Museum in his hometown of Baoding from February 18 to March 5 this year. - From an old South German private collection, acquired at Connoisseur Art Gallery erworben in 2005 (certificate available) - Minor wear

"Klarinette", Öl auf Leinwand, rechts unten signiert "Ran Jie" und datiert "2005.1", gerahmt.Ran Jie wurde 1954 in Baoding, Hebei, geboren. Er studierte Malerei bei seinem Vater, seinerseits Kunstlehrer. Er ist Mitglied der chinesischen Künstlervereinigung, Zweigstelle Hebei. Seit seiner ersten Auszeichnung 1987 für das Gruppenbild "Frühling des grünen Meeres" erhielt er weitere Auszeichnungen und erhielt zahlreiche Ehren, u. a. wurden je zwei seiner Ölgemälde für die Chinese Oil Painting Exhibition in Hongkong 1991 und 1992 ausgewählt, "Baden im Plateau" erhielt den Sonderpreis "International Cultural Exchance Association Excellence Award". Durch seinen Einsatz im kulturellen Austausch zwischen China und Japan nahmen seine Werke regelmäßig an der "Chinese Art Exhibition" in Japan teil. Zuletzt waren seine Stillleben vom 18. Februar bis 5. März dieses Jahres Jahres im Kunstmuseum Huazhong in seiner Heimatstadt Baoding zu sehen.
