Technique: Brass, silver, steel, enamel amongst others.
Description: Hinged protective case with pierced ornamental decor. Smooth silver inner case. Silver
dial with so-called wandering day and night hours. In the centre semicircular opening with
depiction of moon & sun on blue priming made of translucid enamel. Above this Roman hours
ordered in a semicircular manner. Below auxiliary dial for seconds. Inside ring with
Arabic minutes and quarter hours. Outside alongside the rim rotating date display.
Elaborately adorned verge movement with beautiful pillars.
Measurement: ø 6cm.
Mark: Signed on dial "Beer" as well as on the backpanel of the movement "Johann Beer Ulm" (1687 Aufnahme in Zunft, Abeler p.55). Inner case marked "IP" under the crown.
