Brodé par la maison Pierre Mesrine, le cardigan est le look n°9 de la collection haute couture automne-hiver 1972/73 intitulée "Sport Chic", il est porté par le modèle Blanca, et la collection est présentée le 27 juillet 1972 dans les salons de la rue Spontini.
Il est décrit comme "Cardigan à broderie couleur d'or, de rubis et d'émeraude de Mesrine."
