RARE GRANDE BOÎTE COUVERTE EN LAQUE POLYCHROME

CHINE, DYNASTIE MING, MARQUE INCISÉE À SIX CARACTERES ET ÉPOQUE JIAJING (1522-1566)

De forme circulaire, elle est ornée au centre de son couvercle d'un large caractère shou décoré de grues en vol contre un fond à motifs de treillage et svastika. L'aile du couvercle est décorée d'emblèmes taoïstes et de rinceaux feuillagés. Les côtés de la boîte et du couvercle sont décorés d'un large bandeau abritant des dragons à cinq griffes au-dessus des flots à la poursuite de la perle enflammée parmi les nuées et les flammes. La partie inférieure de la boîte est rehaussée d'emblèmes taoïstes et de rinceaux feuillagés sur fond de treillage. Le pied est souligné de fleurs de prunus parmi les flots.
