Ca. Ø51mm, chrome-plated case, serial number 102326, calibre 1114, silvered 24-h dial, split-seconds chronograph with date, Breguet hands, in working order, absolute rarity. Produced in the early 1940s, the "Sistema Magini" pocket watch was instrumental in the success of an epic mission by the Italian Air Force during World War II, the first Rome-Tokyo sighting flight in 1942. The model was named after the heroic pilot Publio Magini to whom it was issued. The watch from this mission was sold for 112,500CHF at Philipps in 2015.
