Limited edition, number 97 of the 300 copies signed by Cole Porter, of which just 250 were for sale.

Containing the lyrics, melody, and piano accompaniment for well-known Porter favourites such as De-Lovely, What a Great Pair We’ll Be, and Red Hot and Blue from the musical comedy of the same name. In a decorative silk publisher's binding; designed by Ernst Reichl, the German-American book designer behind the first American edition of James Joyce’s novel Ulysses.

Quarto (312 x 235 mm). Title page printed in red, blue and black. Publisher’s red, white and blue silk cloth with gilt titles to spine and front board.

[With:] a black and white publicity portrait of Cole Porter, signed and inscribed in black ink ‘For Helen, with great love, Cole’. The image by Hal Phyfe, c.1940, gelatin silver print, photographer’s blindstamp recto and stamped credit verso, 253 x 204 mm, framed (437 x 385 mm).
