Redi, a scientist (1626-1697), was a great friend of the Tuscan wines. As the king of red wines Redi's called the Vino nobile di Montepulciano. The in metrical respect, remarkable poem contains a long antiquarian, historical and cultural, among oenological comment, in which he treated not only the wine but also other beverages, including chocolate (not Mueller). - Untrimmed, breitrandiges Ex.
