c.215 x 147mm. 16 leaves, apparently complete, varying number of lines in a number of condensed italic notarial hands of the 15th century (f.1 almost entirely lacking, f.2 loose and damaged, edges frayed, staining and foxing throughout, the stub of a second gathering survives). Contemporary limp vellum with title, ties survive (yellowed and stained).
Provenance:
(1) The Hospital of San Francesco in Perugia: ‘L[ibro] de Licentie de L’Ospedale de Sam [sic] Franc[esc]o’ on upper cover. The first legible entry is notarised by Tobaldo di Paolo: ‘Ego Tobaldus Pauli de Perusio Porte Sancti Petri publicus imperiali ac apostolica auctoritate notarius et iudice ordinarius [...]’ (see R. Abbondanza, ed., Il notariato a Perugia, 1973, esp. p.62).

The register contains notarial acts from the years 1453-1465, chiefly concerning debtors to the Hospital of San Francesco. There are around 20 individual entries, all with notarial signatures or subscriptions, among which four by Tobaldo di Paolo, two by Vincenzo di Paolo, five by Antonio di Giovanni and two by Lodovico di Cristoforo.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
