Schwerer Bronzehohlguss, braun patiniert, rechts am Hals die Künstlersignatur "Olaf Lemke". Zeitgenössisches vollplastisches Kopfporträt des leidenschaftlichen Piloten in Lebensgröße. Auf ockerfarbenem Steinsockel von quadratischem Grundriss (minimal bestoßen). Gesamthöhe 42 cm. Sehr schön erhaltene, lebensnahe Darstellung. Die zeitgenössische Presse beschrieb das Gesicht von Poss als "markant-nervös gezeichnet".

In heavy, hollow-cast bronze with a brown patina. The artist's signature "Olaf Lemke" on the right of the neck. Contemporary, fully sculptured, life-sized head portrait of the keen pilot. On an ochre-coloured, square stone pedestal (marginally knocked). Total height 42 cm. Lifelike representation in beautiful condition. Newspapers at the time reported that Poss' face was "portrayed as striking and anxious".
