Schlagkopf mit langem, leicht gekrümmtem Vierkantschnabel. Auf der Gegenseite konischer, vierkantiger Hammerkopf mit geschnittenen Zierbändern. Runder Hartholzschaft mit zwei eingelassenen, eisernen Schaftfedern und Ziernieten aus Messing. Gewaffelte eiserne Griffhülse, der runde Abschlussknauf mit Fangriemenöse. Oberflächen leicht narbig, der Schaft mit Altersrissen und stellenweise Wurmschäden. Länge 75 cm.
A Polish horseman's hammer (raven's beak), 1st half of the 17th century
The head with a long, slightly curved quadrangular beak. A conical, rectangular hammer head with chiselled ornamental bands on the opposite side. Circular hardwood haft with two inset iron side straps and decorative brass rivets. Serrated iron sleeve, the round pommel cap with a lanyard loop. The surfaces lightly pitted, the haft with age cracks and worm damage in places. Length 75 cm.

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
