The rectangular bureau made of sturdy walnut, the lid slightly sloping for use as a writing surface. A border of vine and ivy tendrils in low relief on a stippled background carved around the outer edges. The original iron lock with a rectangular iron cover plate, the hasp and key are missing. The back part of the top hinged separately, below which four pigeonholes. Two lateral compartments in the interior, a total of eight drawers for writing materials and stationery concealed at the back and sides. Twelve scenes from the life of Christ in the lid, the interior of the bureau with lavish, decorative tendrils, animated with figures. Dimensions 24 x 50 x 67 cm.

Rechteckiger Schreibkasten aus kräftigem Nussbaumholz, der Deckel leicht schräg als Schreibpult gearbeitet. An den Kanten der Außenseite umlaufend flach geschnitzte Dornblattranken auf punziertem Grund. Originales eisernes Schloss mit rechteckiger eiserner Deckplatte, Fallriegel und Schlüssel fehlen. Der hintere Teil der Oberseite separat aufklappbar, darunter vier Fächer. Im Inneren des Kastens seitlich zwei Innenladen, an der Rückseite sowie seitlich insgesamt acht verborgene Schubladen für Schreibzubehör. Im Deckel zwölf Darstellungen aus dem Leben Christi, die Innenseite des Kastens mit reichem, mit Figuren belebtem Rankendekor. Maße 24 x 50 x 67 cm.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
