‘We are only just beginning to comprehend this’: an essential work on structural and institutional racism in the UK which has now sold more than one million copies across all editions, comprehensively annotated by the author with close to 1000 words of commentary. Originating from a blog post in February 2014, this extended examination of race in modern Britain continues to educate about the experiences of people of colour and to inspire necessary change. Eddo-Lodge’s annotations stem from an attentive close re-reading of her text – they include frequent emendations and corrections, updates to specific terms, but most significantly they describe the responses to her book and provide a sense of what has changed in the intervening years and what remains the same. The author’s notes re-contextualise important passages for the present day, pointing to policy failures of the current government and to the race and class inequalities exposed by the Coronavirus pandemic. The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
