ROBESPIERRE, Maximillien (1758-1794); Comitè de Salut Public - Extrait du registre des arrétés du Comité de Salut Public. 4 Ottobre 1793.

Order of arrest signed by Robespierre and by 5 members of the Committee of Public Safety including San-Just, aka "the archangel of death", and Hérault, both later guillotined. It is a sentence against an aide-de-camp of the Moselle army addressed to General Launay: "The Public Health Committee declares that Chassenbourg, aide-de-camp of the Moselle, will be immediately arrested and taken to Paris". An interesting testimony of the climate established by Robespierre and the Jacobins during the "Regime of Terror".

(300 x 197mm). A manuscript document on headed paper "Proces-verbaux, Convention Nationale, 1792" dated 4 October 1793 and signed by Maximilien de Robespierre (1758-1794), Bertrand Barère de Vieuzac (1755-1841), Jacques Nicolas Billaud-Varenne (1756-1819 ), Marie-Jean Hérault de Séchelles (1759-1794), Jean-Marie Collot d'Herbois (1749-1796) and Louis-Antoine Saint-Just (1767-1794). (Probably trimmed, trace of ancient illegible stamps).
