Keramik, farbig glasiert. Figur: H. 65 cm, Eisenplinthe: H. 0,5 cm. Auf der Rücks. handschriftl. sign. ROGER CAPRON (schwarz). Große Keramikskulptur einer stehenden Frau mit kubistisch zergliedertem Körper und der für den Künstler typischen farbenfrohen Bemalung - Provenienz: Privatsammlung Hamburg - Franz. Keramikkünstler, studierte von 1939 bis 1943 Angewandte Kunst in Paris und gründete 1946 in Vallauris die Töpfer-Werkstatt 'l'Atelier Callis', in der zeitweise 120 Mitarbeiter beschäftigt waren. Capron erhielt zahlreiche Auszeichnungen, darunter 1970 den Grand Prix International de la Céramique, 1983 Gründung des Atelier Capron.
