Russian silver mug for beer or mead made by P. Ovchinnikov. Moscow. 1871 Conical in shape with a hinged lid, stylizing bast products in wickerwork. The lid mechanism stop is functional - double slotted. The front side of the lid is decorated with weaving neo-Russian ornaments. The body of the body is decorated with medallions with views of the Kremlin monasteries and St. Basils Cathedral. Along the edge of the vessel there is a hospitable slogan: Beer is not a wonder and honey is not a praise, but everything matters that love is dear. The gilding inside is well preserved.
