Russian icon of the 19th century on a cypress board - St. Nicholas. The festive and canonical image on gold represents a half-length figure of a blessing saint with an open Gospel. On the sides of the figure are medallions depicting the Mother of God and the Savior. The enlightened image nobly sounds green and scarlet tones against the sacred goodness of gold.
