Breite, leicht geschwungene Rückenklinge (narbig) mit beidseitiger Hohlbahn, drei Zügen, Jelman und Rückenschneide, am Klingenansatz terzseitig geätzt das Monogramm "CFCA" des Markgrafen Christian Friedrich Carl Alexander von Brandenburg-Ansbach, umrahmt von den Schriftzügen "OMNIA EX AMORE" und "NIHIL EX TIMORE", quartseitig geätzt ein reitender Husar, umgeben von den Schriftzügen "FORTUNA FAVENSEND TOLLER" und "FORTUNA TONIG NON MEIGO". Messing-Bügelgefäß mit belederter Hilze (quartseitig ein sternförmiger Zierniet). In schwarz belederter Scheide mit Holzkern und dezent verzierten Messingbeschlägen (beidseitig getriebene Blüten und Voluten), zwei bewegliche Trageringe. Messingteile alle mit einheitlicher dunkler Patina. Gebrauchs- und Altersspuren. Länge 93 cm.
Komplett alte, schön erhaltene und seltene Blankwaffe des Fürstentums Ansbach, das von Nebenlinien des Hauses Hohenzollern regiert wurde.

Broad, slightly curved single-edged blade (pitted) with fuller on each side, three grooves, yelmen and false edge, the base of the blade etched on the obverse with monogram "CFCA" of Margrave Christian Friedrich Carl Alexander von Brandenburg-Ansbach, framed by the inscriptions "OMNIA EX AMORE" and "NIHIL EX TIMORE", the reverse with etched hussar on horseback, surrounded by the inscriptions "FORTUNA FAVENSEND TOLLER" and "FORTUNA TONIG NON MEIGO". Brass knuckle-bow hilt with leather-covered grip (a star-shaped decorative rivet on the reverse). In a scabbard with black leather cover, wooden centre and subtly decorated brass fittings (chased blossoms and volutes on both sides), two movable suspension rings. Brass parts with consistent dark patina. Traces of use and age. Length 93 cm.
Completely old, beautifully preserved and rare edged weapon.

After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
