Leicht gekrümmte Rückenklinge (etwas fleckig, Spitze minimal verbogen), beidseitig zu einem Drittel reich geätzt, dabei die Herstellersignatur "P. Knecht in Solingen", der bekrönte preußische Adler, die Herrscherchiffre "FRW" unter Königskrone sowie Trophäen und Ranken. Vergoldetes Buntmetallbügelgefäß mit zwei Nebenbügeln und Fischhauthilze mit dreifacher Silberdrahtwicklung, Adlerkopfknauf mit eingesetzten roten Glasaugen. Neusilberscheide (Dellen), daran ein eiserner Schlepper sowie zwei bewegliche Trageringe und Ringbänder aus Buntmetall. Anhängendes preußisches Portepee mit geschwärztem Lederband (stark berieben, kleine Risse). Partiell leicht beschädigt, deutliche Gebrauchs- und Altersspuren. Länge 97,5 cm. Sehr selten. Vgl. The slightly curved, single-edged blade (somewhat stained, the tip slightly bent), one third lavishly etched on both sides, including maker's mark "P. Knecht in Solingen", the crowned Prussian eagle, the sovereign's cipher "FRW" below the royal crown with trophies and tendrils. Knuckle-bow hilt in gilt, non-ferrous metal with two side bars and fish-scale grip, triple silver wire winding, the eagle's head pommel set with red glass eyes. Nickel-silver scabbard (dented), on which an iron chape, plus two movable suspension rings and ring bands in non-ferrous metal. A Prussian sword knot attached with a blackened leather band (heavily scuffed, small tears). Slightly damaged here and there, obvious signs of age and use. Length 97.5 cm. Extremely rare find. The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
