Leicht geschwungene Rückenklinge mit beidseitiger Hohlbahn, zweischneidige Pandurenspitze, an der Wurzel zwei französische Abnahmen "B" und "M", am Rücken die Herstellerätzung "M:f ture Imp le du Klingenthal Coulaux frères", Bügelgefäß aus Messing (Abnahmen) mit belederter Hilze und Messingdrahtwicklung, Parierstange gestempelt "V", Stempel "Versailles" in Versalschrift am Griffbügel. Pompon aus roter Wolle später ergänzt (Reste des Originals dahinter). Schwarze Lederscheide (berieben, Naht partiell offen) mit Messingbeschlägen (Halteklammer fehlt), Trageknopf am Mundblech. Säbellänge 86 cm. Dazu ein derbes, altes Leder-Bandelier (weiße Oberfläche aufgefrischt), darin eingesteckt ein dreikantiges Tüllenbajonett in Lederscheide (Messingbeschläge neu), Bajonettlänge 48 cm, in Scheide 58 cm. Anhängender Faustriemen (weiße Farbe aufgefrischt). Teilweise leicht beschädigt, Altersspuren.

Slightly curved single-edged blade with fuller on each side, double-edged Pandour point, at the base two French acceptance marks "B" and "M", the back with etched maker’s mark "M:f ture Imp le du Klingenthal Coulaux frères", knuckle-bow hilt of brass (acceptance marks) with leather-covered grip and brass wire wrap, quillons stamped "V", stamp "Versailles" in upper case on the knuckle bow. Pompon of red wool a later replacement (remnants of the original underneath it). Black leather scabbard (rubbed, stitching partly loosened) with brass fittings (fastening clip missing), frog stud at the locket. Length of sabre 86 cm. Comes with a coarse old leather bandolier (white surface refreshed), inserted in it a socket bayonet of triangular section in a leather scabbard (brass fittings new), length of bayonet 48 cm, inside the scabbard 58 cm. Attached lanyard (white colour refreshed). Slightly damaged in places, traces of age.
