1.) Kleinod: Gold, teilweise emailliert, mehrteilig durchbrochen gefertigt, eine Kreuzarmspitze mit Oberflächenchip, rückseitig der blaue Medaillonreif ebenfalls mit Chip, die offene Krone beweglich aufgehängt, 2.) Stern: Silber vergoldet, das mehrteilig gefertigte Medaillon emailliert und ziseliert, mit Schmuckplatte von Scharffenberg, Dresden, an Nadel, diese S gepunzt, im braunen Verleihungsetui mit aufwendiger goldener Deckelprägung, die Schließe lädiert, weißes Innenfutter, das rote Inlay mit Aussparung für Kleinod und Stern, darunter liegend die konfektionierte Schärpe.

Die Sonderstufe wurde im Jahre 1883 gestiftet und in der Silber vergoldeten Ausführung in nur 33 Exemplaren verliehen.
