Insgesamt 79 Brieföffner, aus Geschossmaterial (meist Granatsplittern) zurechtgeschliffen, in unterschiedlicher Ausführung, teilweise mit Gravuren oder eingelegtem/angesetztem Buntmetall in Form von Gewehrprojektilen/Hülsen. Davon 29 Exemplare aus Kupfer, 36 aus Eisen, zwölf aus gelber Bronze oder Messing, eines aus Aluminium und eines aus Nickelmaterial. Außerdem zwei unbearbeitete eiserne Granatsplitter, zwei Armbänder aus Granat-Führungsringen (eines aufgebogen und mit zwei Uniformknöpfen und Projektil besetzt) sowie ein Petschaft "E.D.". Partiell leicht beschädigt, Gebrauchs- und Altersspuren. Länge ca. 6 - 29 cm.
Eindrucksvolle, reiche Sammlung unterschiedlicher Varianten.
A collection of 79 patriotic letter openers and trench art
A total of 79 letter openers made of used shells (mostly shrapnel), the material ground into shape, in different designs, some with engraving or inlaid/appliquéd with non-ferrous metal in the form of rifle projectiles/cases. Of which, 29 made of copper, 36 of iron, twelve of yellow bronze or brass, one of aluminium and one of nickel material. Also includes two unworked iron shell fragments, two bracelets made of grenade guide rings (one bent open and set with two uniform buttons and a projectile) and a seal marked "E.D.". Slightly damaged in places, signs of age and use. Length of each approx. 6 - 29 cm.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
