Estimate value
£ 3 000 – 5 000
The complete slice with shimmering etch to reveal a Widmanstätten pattern with graphite and troilite inclusions.
The meteorite was found sticking out of the ground in October 2016 by a man clearing brush near a dirt road.
One of only 3 slices of this meteorite: the main mass is now in the Arizona State University Center for Meteorite Studies collection. Michael Farmer acquired the entire meteorite from the finder and exchanged the entire meteorite less 3 slices to ASU.
